RAC Long Run 60km Sunday 28 April 2024

The RAC Long Run is a club training run which takes place six weeks before the COMRADES Marathon.
This is a perfect dress-rehearsal to help runners prepare for the long journey between Maritzburg and Durban.
The 60km route takes you through the leafy suburbs of Johannesburg with hills to challenge you, and distance to test you.
The route is well marked and runners will receive a map and directions at the start.
Refreshment tables will be provided at intervals of approximately 3km - 4km to keep you hydrated and fuelled.

Notes:

MANUAL Registration - contribution towards support tables: R200
ONLINE Registrations - contribution towards support tables, plus admin fee: R205
A limited amount of T-shirts will be given to Online entries only.
Additional T-shirts will be available for a donation of R100

Rules & Regulations:
The RAC Long Run is a club run and is not an official race.
There will be no timing or prize money, and there will be no traffic marshals along the route, so please practice caution at all times.
Please run on the right hand side of the road facing oncoming traffic, and be considerate of motorists at intersections.
Please Do Not Litter - carry items until you find a bin.
